A truly exceptional piece of craftsmanship from one of the finest modern American yacht builders. hull #6 of the Morris 48 series was built with a custom-designed Jim Taylor keel drawing 8’ 2” and carbon fiber Hall Spars mast, giving her exceptional sea-keeping abilities on an offshore passage and exceptional performance on the racecourse.

Accommodations

The interior layout accommodates 7 people in 3 private sleeping areas, with 2 additional berths on settees that pull out to provide comfortable single berths. All berths feature lee cloths. A large head forward to port is connected to the master cabin. A second head aft includes a separate stall shower, which can double as a wet locker on deliveries. The U-shaped galley is aft of the forward cabin & head to port, with a settee & storage opposite to starboard. The dinette & nav station, under the raised portion of the salon, have abundant light & visibility to the outside. Espar diesel heating. 

Interior Finish:
The interior of the boat is finished in a Herreshoff style w/white bulkheads & contrasting satin-varnished cherry trim, including doors, handrails (4), hull sides and headliner. 

Teak & holly cabin sole w/latched lift-outs for service access below (entire cabin sole removable for complete access to bilges).
